On this day in 1932 Babe Ruth called his shot. According to legend Babe Ruth pointed to the seats to show he was going to hit a home run. He proceeded to hit a home run. Some people claim this is just an urban legend but his teammate Lou Gehrig claims Ruth did in fact call his shot.
