Author Oscar Wilde was known for his acclaimed works including The Picture of Dorian Gray and The Importance of Being Earnest, as well as his brilliant wit, flamboyant style and infamous imprisonment for homosexuality.
Oscar Fingal O’Flahertie Wills Wilde was an Irish poet and playwright. After writing in different forms throughout the 1880s, the early 1890s saw him become one of the most popular playwrights in London.
Anayah Qayyum is currently a Junior at Colonia High School and is in her second year of Journalism. She descends from a pure Pakistani household but was born and raised in New Jersey. In addition, Qayyum has two younger brothers and is very close to her family. Qayyum is part of the Marching Patriots family and enjoys working in a group environment. She appreciates reading about people's opinions and writing about them on The Declaration. Overall, Qayyum enjoys writing and spending her time with the Declaration.
