Mahatma Gandhi was born on October 2, 1869, in Porbandar India. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi is his full name. He was an Indian lawyer, politician, social activist, and writer. Also, he lead the nationalist movement against the British rule of India. As a result,  father of his country is what he is considered. Above all, Gandhi is widely well known for his nonviolent protests to achieve political & social progress.
