This gave Nolan Ryan a record 7 no-hitters on his career, 3 more than baseball legend Sandy Koufax. Also among some of his most impressive records is his career 5,714 strikeouts, significantly more than second place Randy Johnson. He struck out players from four different decades in his 27 year career and his number was retired by three different teams: the Angels, Astros and Rangers. Ryan finished his career with 324 wins and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1999.
