Oct.28, 2025 – Horses and cows usually sleep standing up

Both horses and cows have a unique mechanism called the “stay apparatus” in their legs. This consists of tendons and ligaments that lock their knees and hocks in place, allowing them to stand without muscle effort.

Jayla Mineweather is a 15-year-old sophomore in Colonia High School. Mineweather’s birthday is on May 2nd. She is a taurus, and she was born in 2010. Mineweather loves to listen to music whenever she can and her favorite types are r&b and rap. She is trying to accomplish her two main goals which are to get good grades and get more into dance. In middle school she was a part of the school’s dance club which helped her get more into her goal. Mineweather loves going on walks while listening to music and watching the sunset go down and seeing the beautiful sky colors that come out. Her favorite times of the year are fall and winter. In fall Mineweather loves all of the activities you can do and the beautiful weather that comes with it. She likes halloween, all of the fall decorations, and baking/activities that are fall themed. In winter there is her favorite holiday which is Christmas and there’s many fun activities you can do in winter.Â
