On this day in 2006, in typical, hard-hitting interview fashion, Oprah Winfrey confronted author James Frey, on her daily talk show, about falsifying in his top-selling memoir “A Million Little Pieces”, which was before that one of Oprah favorite books and an Oprah’s Book Club favorite. Frey admitted to lying in his writing.
