Hal Jordan, a.k.a. The Green Lantern, is a very powerful superhero. He has one of, if not the, strongest wills in the galaxy. As a result, he overmatches many of his foes when he has his ring on.
Green Lantern would beat Batman
Although Batman is one of the most dangerous people/heroes on Earth, Green Lantern would beat Batman in a fight. Surely though, it would be close. Batman has been recognized for his capabilities and skills on multiple occasions. One occasion being when Batman single-handedly took out a team of superhumans in order to save the JLA. Batman is not a hero to take lightly even though he has no powers. In place of powers he utilizes his genius level intellect, his advanced technology, his expertise in stealth, espionage, escapology, his mastery in over 127 different types of martial arts, his peak human physical conditioning, and his unique ability to withstand telepathy and mind control. He still wouldn’t be able to best Green Lantern in a showdown.
Green Lantern is one of the most powerful lanterns and not to mention heroes, there is. His willpower and hard light constructs are above most if not all green lanterns and are even powerful enough to stagger even Superman himself. On the offensive, Green Lantern can create hard light constructs, illusions, superhuman strength, and mind alteration. What exactly can Batman do to defend against that. “The best offense is a good defense” , and Green Lantern utilizes this with his ability to create force fields, regenerate his cells in order to heal himself, phase through objects, absorb energy, turn invisible, and not to forget fly. If Green Lantern’s skill set didn’t already appeal to you as enough to overpower Batman then you can’t forget that due to Green Lantern’s ring he also is capable of electromagnetic scanning which is basically a counter to Batman’s many technologies and advanced equipment.
At the end of it all, Green Lantern’s superhuman lantern abilities would grant him dominance over his opponent, Batman. Surely at the outcome, the match up wouldn’t have been pretty and most definitely no walk in the park because Batman is not someone to take lightly. Overall comparing Green Lantern to Batman, Green Lantern’s skill set gives him the advantage over Batman and he would most definitely come out as the victor.
