While reading this story, I was extremely caught in the romantic feel of it due to Sparks’ magical way of writing stories. Sparks’ takes this simple love story of two people and can turn it into a captivating, twisted story that just keeps you reading. I love how he makes the stories so romantic, even tear jerking at some points just by the words he uses. The way he incorporated humor and personality into these characters makes it so easy to really feel what they are feeling, almost like you are in the story, He captures every scene perfectly and I can even picture the sun rising over the North Carolina waters. I was very intrigued in the plot of the story as well: Sparks does a great job at pulling you in with his writing and making you feel as if you’re part of the story.
The reader most definitely feels the romantic, special story that Sparks does such a great job telling. He lures you in with the way he makes the two characters have so much chemistry. The ending was also exactly how Sparks always ends his books, with a twist and that is what makes his stories so captivating.
Definitely a must read, but before watching the movie because of the noticeably big difference.
