13 ways to screw up your college interview

Next to be performed was the scene 13 ways to screw up your college interview. Directed by student director Julia Paradizova. This scene was based on the struggles of two college interviews who needed to admit one more student to their college. Their only choice of candidates had to be pulled from the dreadful WEIGHT LIST.

Dervens Celestin and Anastasia Francisquini star in this scene as interviewer one and two. Accompanying them are Izilda Jorge, Lexii Turk, Haley Vaughn, Adriana Daniel, Jada Davis, Syed Huzaifa, Ryan Campbell, and Abigail Muccilli as the varying weight listed students.

First of all, you can tell that these students being interviewed are not your average high schoolers. They each have their own unique, but mostly frightening qualities.

The scene flowed well, with each student being interviewed right after the other. If there were any hiccups they were invisible to the audience. The acting was wonderful, and each character was developed in their short interview. The costumes were light an comical, especially when Elizabeth (Haley Vaughn) Came out in a vampire cape. While pretending to be a practicing Vampire in hopes of turning into an actual vampire one day.

In addition there were many other memorable student performances. Lily (Lexii Turk) was a student who told long dramatic stories that made people who were alive ad well seem like they were dead! Kelly (Jada Davis) played an extremely childish student who’s College essay was a picture of a  little girl in a pink dress. Because of her Childish ways her recommendation letter is also a picture as well.One of the last students to be interviewed was Ben (Ryan Campbell). He was demanding, and told the interviewer that is he did’t get into this school many lives would be on the balance of life and death. Due to his demanding personality he cuts the power and threatens to punch the interviewer (Dervens Celestin).
