Charles M. Schulz (1922-2000) was an American cartoonist most well-known for his cartoon strip Peanuts. Schulz is considered one of America’s most influential cartoonists, and his influence is still being felt today. Early in his adult-life, Schulz was drafted into the American army. After his draft, Schulz moved to Minneapolis where he began his career as a cartoonist with his first cartoon Li’l Folks. Schulz was considered to be an outstanding man during his time. Schulz’s mindset and personality can be found in one of his own characters, Charlie Brown. Schulz inputted his own hope, optimism, and clumsiness into Charlie. Schulz inspires us all to look forward to tomorrow, even if tomorrow might not be the best.
