Grace Jones (1948-Present) is a Jamaican singer, songwriter, supermodel, record producer, and actress. Jones moved to Syracuse, New York at age 13 and began her modelling career then. She appeared on covers of distinguished magazines, such as Elle and Vogue. Jones became known for her androgynous and bold features. At age 29, Jones was signed on to Island Records and released numerous albums and singers. Jones’ songs were frequently found in the Top 40. In the 70’s and 80’s, Jones also found herself in numerous films- one of her most prominent roles being Zula in Conan the Destroyer. For her works in numerous films, Jones was nominated for Saturn Awards ‘Best Supporting Actress.’ Jones inspired the cross-dressing movement of the 80s and is listed in the Top 100 Greatest Women of Rock and Roll.

Rebecca Melton is an eighteen year-old senior at Colonia High School. She is heavily involved in the performing arts, having been apart of backstage crew since her freshman year. Melton is the Secretary of Colonia High School's Thespian Society and is the Student Technical Director of the CHS Theater. Melton is also a member of the majority of Colonia High School's Bands. She is the Flute Section Leader of the Marching Band, and is the first chair flute in both Concert Band and Wind Ensemble. She also is a fan of tabletop gaming and has worked to create and game-master campaigns with her friends. Her favorite subject is English and she loves reading, her favorite genre being high fantasy. Melton intends to become an English teacher.
