Laurence J. Peter (1919-1990) was a Canadian educator, best known for developing the “Peter principle.” Peter grew into his role as an educator gradually over the years, starting in Vancouver in 1941. He received his degree Doctor of Education from Washington State University. Peter was known for his witty sense of humor and brilliant mind. He published numerous books in his time alive and will forever be remembered for them.
