Ernest Hemingway (1899 – 1961) was an American novelist and story writer. Hemingway was well-known for his many novels and plays published rapidly. Throughout a majority of his life, Hemingway pursued journalism- he started in high school. When Hemingway wasn’t writing, he was chasing some great adventure or another. He would hunt, travel, and fish. In 1954, Hemingway won a Nobel Prize in Literature. In 1961, Hemingway committed suicide.
