On this day 1958, the Brooklyn Dodgers officially moved to Los Angeles. Keeping the same team name and colors, the now Los Angeles Dodgers upset a lot of New Yorkers. The Dodgers are also the first team to give an African-American player a chance in Jackie Robinson.
