Pictured above is SHI Stadium in New Brunswick, NJ home to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Princeton and Rutgers played each other in the old Rutgers Stadium decades before.

The first ever college football game was played November 6, 1869. Rutgers and Princeton faced off in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Rutgers took the win that day.
