Ken Griffey Jr, one of the best hitters in the history of baseball hit his 250th homer at the young age of 27, becoming the 4th youngest player to reach the milestone. He retired in the year 2010 with 630 total home runs.
The milestone came in a game against the Toronto Blue Jays. Griffey gave Toronto hell, going 3/5 and driving in 3 RBIs on 3 home runs. The Mariners won the game 13-8. Griffey had a dominant month of April, with a .340 average, 30 RBIs and a .420 on-base percentage in 26 games. Griffey continued to have a stellar season, winning MVP with 56 home runs.
