This gave Nolan Ryan 7 no-hitters on his career, 3 more than baseball legend Sandy Koufax. He ended his career with 5,714 strikeouts, significantly more than second place Randy Johnson. He struck out players from four different decades in his 27 year career. His number was retired by three different teams, the Angels, Astros and Rangers and finished his career with 324 wins. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1999.
