NFL legend, Joe Montana made the record books yet again in a game against the Green Bay Packers.
The 4-time Super Bowl champion completed his final five passes the week before in a game against the Cleveland Browns. He went on a tear against the Packers, completing all of his first seventeen passes on his way to breaking the previous record of 20 straight completions set by Ken Anderson.
Montana finished the game completing 26 of his 35 passes for 308 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Montana’s record has been broken multiple times over the last 37 years and is currently shared by 4 different quarterbacks. Ryan Tannehill, Marcus Mariota, Phillip Rivers and Nick Foles have all completed 25 passes without an incompletion.
