Following his 3rd Super Bowl victory, legendary head coach, Bill Walsh decided to end on a high note and call it a career.
Walsh was one of the most influential offensive coaches in NFL history, changing pro football permanently by implementing the “West Coast Offense”. He coached legendary quarterback Joe Montana as well as record breaking receiver Jerry Rice.
Under Walsh’s command, the 49ers won 3 Super Bowls and had a record of 102-63-1.
Bill Walsh was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1993 and is still to this day, widely regarded as one of the greatest coaches of all time.
