Getting into the Valentine’s Day spirit, something that people normally do is watch a rom-com. Rom-coms are romantic comedies which are usually movies.
What is it about
“Anyone But You” is a rom-com about two people who start having a date as any normal relationship starts. Over time they progressively start to go downhill, arguing more, not having the same perception, and many other things driving them apart. However, one thing that keeps them connected is the fact that they both end up getting invited to the same event. The event that they get invited to is a wedding which is located in Australia. Both have many different silly moments not realizing the feelings that they have for each other. They try their hardest to paint this image in front of people of this picture-perfect couple however they are far from that.

“Anyone but You” was released on December 22, 2023. In 2024 from GLAAD Media Awards, they got nominated for an outstanding film-wide release. As well as getting nominated for that, there were three nominations from People’s Choice Awards, USA. Both, Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell got The Comedy Movie Star Of The Year. As well as those two nominations there was also a nomination for The Comedy Movie of the Year. Finally, they won an award for the reframe stamp feature.

“Anyone but you” has a 3.2-star rating on Google from 2,902 people. On rotten tomatoes, it has a 54 percent. On IMDb, it has a 6.1/10 and on Common Sense Media they have a 3 out of 5 rating for this movie. This clearly shows how there are many mixed reviews.
This movie is a really good romantic comedy filled with many different scenes that will get you a good laugh. If you love movies with drama in them, then this movie is the epitome of drama.
Opinion
In my opinion, this movie is a very classic drama-filled movie with lots of twist and turns that you wouldn’t expect.
