Rosalind Elsie Franklin was an English chemist and X-ray crystallographer whose work was central to the understanding of the molecular structures of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid), RNA (ribonucleic acid), viruses, coal, and graphite.

Joe Okoroagu is a Junior at Colonia High School passionate about the craft of writing—fiction and non-fiction alike. He is an avid reader and writer who finds joy in delving into books. When Joe isn’t occupied with his studies, you will find him spending most of his free time outdoors and indoors, working on creative writing pieces, penning characters, and gathering ideas.
Driven by his love for running, Joe is determined to leave a lasting legacy on the record books, as a half-miler and miler at heart, aiming to make a mark through both words and action. With this being his first year with The Declaration he is dedicated to becoming a better writer and journalist and is always looking for ways to achieve his goals.
