Nora’s is a little deli located at 381 Avenel Street, Avenel, NJ and is open from 7AM to 8PM everyday. 89% of people on menupix.com said Nora’s Deli is yummy.
The seating in Nora’s as well as the parking is hard to get. There is approximately around nine tables and three of those are tables for two. They should move the front case of all the meats and cheese to another location and easily make room for three coffee tables for people who are by themselves and want a quick drink or sandwich. Waiting for a table is way to long or longer then usual because of the over abundance of food that they give so people eating take longer trying to finish all that food.
The food that they give you is a tremendous amount and is defiantly a good thing for the person eating the food. Ordering a side of bacon isn’t like 7 slices of bacon they give you like 25 slices of bacon its amazing. When asking for anything to go they don’t leave empty spaces in the box they actually fill it as much as they can that its hard to close the lid. the prices for the food are prices that are low and give more then what other places might give you. The table you eat this food on like the rest of the place is very clean. You can see clearly when you sit down the table is nice and smooth and gives off a shine that when you put your arms on it you get no thought of, “I wonder what has been on this table.”
Nora’s serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and has a decent size menu full of options. They also have a take-out menu available, but keep in mind the portions are large.
The kindness of the employees is impressive. They really care about everyone and ask how’s your day and continue conversations with you with smiles from beginning to end. Nora herself works their as well and she is a sweetheart she treats you more then just a customer. She speaks with you as if you were friends who haven’t met in a while. When it comes to how the customer is treated and how they are served Nora’s is great at accomplishing that. When it comes to parking seating and waiting that’s Nora’s Achilles heel.
However, finding parking by Nora’s is very difficult because of what its by, Nora’s is next to a barber shop and a pizzeria. There is no parking lot by Nora’s so if your driving there for breakfast you better believe your going to walk a block or two to get what ever it is you want.
