Community Service

 

Students from the Interact Club volunteer to Dr. Spiller's leaves on weekends. Spiller is very grateful for the outpouring of student volunteers who assist with yard work, tutor her sons, and babysit for her.
Students from the Interact Club volunteer to rake Dr. Spiller’s leaves on weekends. Spiller is very grateful for the outpouring of student volunteers who assist with yard work, tutor her sons, and babysit for her.

Requirements for Hours:

  • Students must complete a total of TEN hours EACH year.
  • Students MUST choose from an approved list of services.
  • Students MUST document their hours (see attached log sheet), provide supervisor’s signature, and submit all documentation to their guidance counselor each year.
  • Students may NOT receive payment for their services.

Ways to get involved:

1. Events

  • Hand in Hand Dance 2/25 from 6:30 -8:30 pm
  • Middle School Tutoring – See Mrs. DiChiara to sign up
  • Reading to Elementary School students fro Read Across America

 2. Organizations in Woodbridge offering community service
