On this day in history, the great depression began. This event occurred because of the decline in spending.

On this day in history, the great depression began. This event occurred because of the decline in spending.

On this day in 1873 marks the start of a six-year economic depression in Europe and North America. In the U.S. this event was called the ‘Great Depression’.
