February 23, 1986-Wade Boggs receives the richest amount awarded by an arbitration case

Although he lost his arbitration case, the third baseman received 1.35 million dollars. He had initially sought 1.85 million dollars but arbitrator Thomas Douglas was in favor of the Red Sox, which caused a half million dollar drop. Boggs went on to lead the league in hitting and on-base percentage in the 1986 season.

Dylan Miller is currently a Junior at Colonia High School,he enjoys participating in sports,earning varsity letters in Cross Country,Winter Track and Spring Track. In addition to participating in sports, Dylan also follows the NFL,NBA and MLB. When he’s not busy in school or running,he enjoys watching TV shows like Ted Lasso,he also likes listening to sports analysts Colin Cowherd,Jim Rome or Dan Patrick.
