February 27, 1959-Bob Cousy sets NBA record 28 assists in a game

The Boston Celtics won the game easily by a score of 173-139 against the Minneapolis Lakers(Now Los Angeles). The Celtics 173 points was also an NBA record at the time. The team’s scoring record was matched in 1990 when the Phoenix Suns scored 173 points against the Denver Nuggets. The assist record stood until 1990 when Scott Skiles of the Orlando Magic broke it with a whopping 30 assists also against the Denver Nuggets.

In addition to participating in sports, Dylan also follows the NFL,NBA and MLB. When he’s not busy in school or running,he enjoys watching TV shows like Ted Lasso,he also likes listening to sports analysts Colin Cowherd,Jim Rome or Dan Patrick.
