James broke the record in a tight loss to the Golden State Warriors in game 3 of the 2018 finals. It was the 110th 30 point playoff game for the future Hall of Famer, eclipsing Michael Jordan’s previous record of 109. James holds the record for most career postseason points with 8,162 over the course of 287 games. In the game, LeBron posted a triple-double with 33 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists, playing 47 of the 48 minutes. This added to his record of 10 Finals triple-doubles. In spite of his performance, the Cavaliers would go on to get swept and lose to the Warriors for the 3rd time in 4 years.
