About the Contributor

Jayla Seepersaud, Reporter
Jayla Seepersaud is a senior at Colonia High School. After graduating, she plans to pursue her dream of becoming a full-time journalist. Seepersaud enjoys watching 1980s classics, and horror films. When she’s not reading novels or writing stories, she’s cooking, baking, and creating delicious recipes. Seepersaud spends most of her time outdoors and enjoys hiking, fishing, and snowboarding in the Pocono mountains of Pennsylvania, where she was raised. If she’s not traveling on foot, she’s in the car on her way to another state, excited to see new faces and places. So far, Seepersaud has been to sixteen states and hopes to visit the remaining thirty-four, as well as some countries and islands, which will ultimately benefit her future career and give her lots to write about.
