Known as “Mr October”for his spectacular postseason play, Reggie Jackson moved into 6th place on the all-time home runs list when he hit his 537th home run to pass fellow Yankees player Mickey Mantle.
While Jackson spent most of his career with the Oakland Athletics, he reached this milestone with the California Angels against Roger Clemens and the Red Sox.
Clemens started the season off undefeated and had struck out 20 batters in a game earlier in the season.
