When it comes to Dave’s Hot Chicken and Raising Cane’s, it becomes a debate between the two franchises where people can’t have one single side to lean on.
I have went to both places and to be honest it does have aits different favors on everything on the menu alot of the aspects have their differences like the food, envoriment and customer service and honestly i have alot to say about these places as much as i love food i would have to lean on to the side of daves honestly because when we look at the menus they have alot of variety as in canes they only focus on one specific thing and dont really open to big idea or idea thag would attract the customer to try something new let me break it down for you.
Daves hot chicken
Dave’s was founded in 2017 in Hollywood, California, starting as a food truck serving on the local streets of LA, to now expanding all over the U.S. Their restaurants are crowded, but most of the time they feel crowded due to the huge staff in each restaurant.
Menu
But the menu has expanded, they have been serving meals such as the combos, naming them Dave’s 1-4 1 being the cheaper option, and 4 being the more expensive option. They also let you choose your spice tolerance or even get them regular with no spice.
Sides
They let the customer always enjoy they’re wings with a side of fries and pickles. Something new that they added to the menu was they’re new loaded fries, which I recommend to the public. It’s a combination of small bite tenders or nuggs with fries and loaded with cheese sauce and their signature pink sauce, called their “Dave’s sauce.” In my opinion, if you add some honey to it, it tastes so much better. All those favors in your mouth are a bit much. The way they introduced the loaded fries has had to be the best one ever invented because it’s something that combines the menu into one. They come in different sizes: small, medium, and large. I’ve tried the most, but at the end of the day,y I think the medium has to be the best one yet.
Sliders
Now they have other opinions, such as the sliders, mac and cheese, and the Daves Little Bites. They’re good since they’re like a meal, just in smaller sizes. The sliders come with coleslaw on them. I’m not a big fan because I am not a fan of coleslaw. But the tender bites are also good since they’re so small. The new thing added to the menu has been the mini sliders. I haven’t tried them yet, but I am looking forward to eating them and trying them to see how good they taste.
Beverages
Now, when it comes to their drinks, they do not disappoint. They have done everything from soft drinks to shakes and shakes with cereal or M&M’s. Now they have introduced their slushes to the menu, and I also have yet to try them, but I hope they’re good.
Raise and Canes
Now, when it comes to raises and canes, they were founded in 1996 in LA too; I’m not sure. When I order, the people are friendly, but the environment is too crowded.
Menu
I honestly don’t see the hype of it at the end of the day, Cane’s is basically like tenders and fries that I can do at home theyre sour dough bread is alright they arent that bad but still when it comes to the tender and the fries it s just something that i feel like could be better i mean even then theyre no spice levels to the tenders you can just get them plain. Its like thats all you can get which sucks on top of that they only give you the chicken sandwich which okay its the same as the slider just no lettuce.
Sides
But there are no sides besides bread and fries no mac and cheese no nothing so its like if raise and cannes where founded longer than daves its crazy that its been 29 almost 30 years and theyre menu has been unchanged ever since or has stuck to thyere roots and traditions that they dont expand theyre menus which sucks i feeel like if they did ehat daves did they would attract clientele way more and they would have a uprising to theyre Franchise and would sky rocket thru the food chart due to its mix and matches of theyre food combo.
Drinks
When it comes to drinks, they do not have a lot besides the soft drinks and lemonade, and tea, and that’s all, no milkshakes or slushes; they are honestly really plain for me.
overall
I’ve always grown up eating different things, mixing things to get a new flavor. I honestly think if I were to have Raise and Canes every day, I would get bored with it quickly. But that’s my opinion on both of the two franchises.
Overall opinion
In my opinion, like I said, it’s really about the food on their menu. For me, the environment and the service are not something I look for as long as the food is good and isn’t plain, im good with it.
Daves
Daves is the restaurant to provide for my needs. I feel like when I have that craving, I feel like Davies honestly satisfies it for me. I feel like with raise and Cane’s, it should be more of a snack or a to-go meal. But Davies is something different. I wish they bring more to their menu.
raise and canes
As for raises and cane, I wish they could break that tradition. If they want to keep bringing more and more clientele, I would wish to see that menu change.
