A car for Christmas seems crazy

Do people actually gift cars for Christmas? That is the question most people ask when they see car commercials around this time every year. Car companies advertise their cars covered with big red bows. But the question remains: Do people actually buy cars for Christmas?

Yes, some people are foolish enough to purchase cars for their loved ones on Christmas.

Shelling out $40,000 for a Christmas gift is overdoing it. Some may argue that, if you love someone, you can show that you love them by buying a brand new car. However, this should not be the justification for buying a car for Christmas. Maybe an accident occurred and you needed a new car, which is understandable. Buying a new car without practical reason, on the other hand, is beyond me.

Buying a car for Christmas may not be the most frugal thing to do, but would you do it?
