On this date in 1963, MLB legend Pete Rose won the Rookie of the Year. Rose took this great start to his career and kept it going throughout. He was able to become the MLB’s all-time leader in categories like hits, and At-bats. Although there is a bunch of controversy on Rose with betting on himself and his team, there is no arguing that he was an outstanding baseball player.
