    October 8, 2014- First person in America diagnosed with Ebola dies

    On this day in 2014, the first person in the United States of America diagnosed with Ebola, died. Thomas Eric Duncan, a Texas citizen dies at age 42 from Ebola. Duncan lived in Liberia and traveled to West Africa and America where he was diagnosed and died.
