In honor of Women’s history month, Ethel L. Payne, was a very inspirational African American reporter who fought for people of color’s rights. Her legacy lives on as we continue to give equal treatment throughout the world.

Avani Nayak is a 16-year-old who was born on October 15, 2008. She is on the high school’s basketball team but also finds different sports interesting like flag football, and track. She finds interest in becoming a nurse shortly and would like to be able to pursue her career by hopefully getting her associate’s degree in nursing. She enjoys TV shows over movies but will never turn down a movie night with family and friends. She enjoys learning new things and likes and will give anything a chance. On free days you will catch her drawing or listen to music.
