Feb. 3rd- Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn were at different levels of popularity when filming ‘Roman Holiday’

‘Roman Holiday’ had a $1.5 million budget. It received over $12 million in the box office.

Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn were the main actors for ‘Roman Holiday’. At the time of filming, Gregory Peck was a major actor that had won many awards and performed in several movies. Audrey Hepburn was only a newcomer. However, Peck pushed to get Hepburn’s name to appear alongside his in the opening credits.

Kellie Hastrup is a 17 year old senior at Colonia High School. She has a younger brother and a tortoiseshell cat named Torre. She is currently the president of Fashion Club and is in 3 honor societies. In her free time, she likes to crochet, paint, and various other arts and crafts. In addition, she loves reading and writing. She plans to study filmmaking and hopes to become a screenwriter in the future. Hastrup’s favorite book is “The Great Gatsby” as she believes that the symbolism and characters were excellently written. Her favorite music genres are pop, rock, alternative and more.
