Students from Colonia High School discuss where they are headed after high school. In the video they talk about how they got there, what the application was like, and what they envision for their future.
Sophia Montesinos is a junior at Colonia High School. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball for both her school and club team as a defensive specialist. Montesinos is also an avid reader, her favorite genre, or genre she “specializes” in, is romance. Her favorite authors of this genre include Jenny Han, Anna Huang and Hannah Grace. In school, she participates in various activities, including Student Council, SPTS, Patriot Pals, and Class Office. She is the class president for the class of 2027! During the summer, she spends her days down by the shore, specifically Seabright. She also enjoys traveling with her family to places all around the world in the summer, including Spain, Mexico, Canada and many more. After high school, she hopes to attend Penn State University one day for broadcast journalism and live near the beach.
Mariella Spina is a 18-year-old senior at Colonia High School. She enjoys playing softball, reading, writing, and seeing her friends. She has lived in Woodbridge Township her entire life, previously attending Oak Ridge Heights Elementary School and Colonia Middle School. After graduating, she is playing softball at Kean University, and majoring in communication sciences and disorders. After college, Spina would like to become a speech language pathologist and work in schools to help children with speech disorders. In her free time, she enjoys reading YA books and keeping up with the Yankees. Her favorite artist is Morgan Wallen.
