Jack Cowen, Reporter
Jack Cowen. Cowen goes by He/Him and identifies as a male. He has experience in the journalistic field dating back to September 2023, when he joined the Colonia Middle School newspaper club. Cowen has commentated on multiple basketball games, participated in post-game interviews with athletes, and is currently in the Declaration newspaper club. He is a big New Jersey sports fan, as he follows the New York Giants (Football), the New York Yankees (Baseball), and the New Jersey Devils (Hockey). Cowen also plays multiple sports, including football, baseball, indoor track, and golf. He is also very cultured in classic movies because some of his favorites are “The Karate Kid”, “Back to the Future”, “The Cable Guy”, and “The Dark Knight.” All in all, Jack Cowen is a well-rounded student-athlete who is very polished and passionate about his journalistic studies and the world around him.
Lacey Blash, Reporter
Lacey Blash is a fourteen year old, freshman, student athlete that will be graduating Colonia High School in the class of 2029. Blash is currently playing on the school’s JV girl’s volleyball team as a setter. When off the court, she spends most of her time hanging out with friends and doing activities like playing video games, going to the mall, or walking around town. When not socializing, she is most likely doing homework or studying in an attempt to keep her academics as high as possible. Blash is also currently pondering about her career, trying to decide if she would like to be an educator or a HVAC technician.
