As It Is, the first band from the UK to be signed to Fearless Records, is set to release their new album Never Happy, Ever After on April 21.
As It Is, is a pop-punk band that includes five band members, Patty Walters (vocals), Ben Biss (guitar and vocals), Patrick Foley (drums), Andy Westhead (guitar), and Alistair Testo (bass). Lead singer Patty Walters has previously uploaded solo covers of songs to YouTube, including songs like Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus and Weightless by All Time Low, gaining the attention of pop-punk music fans. While on YouTube, Patty Walters decided to form a band in 2012, and together the band had released four EP’s prior to being signed, one being This Mind Of Mine. After being signed to Fearless Records in 2014 they began working on their debut album in the United States.
Never Happy, Ever After, As It Is’ debut album includes 11 songs and is to be released on April 20th in the UK and then on April 21st in the US. Two singles have been released from this album so far Dial Tones and Concrete. As It Is released a music video for the first single called Dial Tones, and released a lyric video for Concrete. Both songs can be downloaded through iTunes and pre-orders for Never Happy, Ever After are available at asitis.merchnow.com. Fans of pop-punk bands like All Time Low and The Starting Line should listen to this catchy album made by this talented band, they may find themselves a new favorite band.
As It Is is currently touring around the US on the Glamour Kills Tour with Set It Off, Against The Current, and Roam. They then will be touring overseas before they come back to the US for Vans Warped Tour, where they will be playing all summer long on the Journeys stage. This band is definitely worth checking out on YouTube, iTunes, and or on Warped Tour this summer.
