How to make an easy berry smoothie bowl

The final result of the Easy Berry Smoothie Bowl

The pandemic has allowed society to reflect on themselves and innovate ways to induce positive change. Therefore, many people found new workouts, created new goals, and sought for healthy recipes. One recipe that I recently found delicious, easy, and healthy are smoothie bowls. Below will explain how to make an easy berry smoothie bowl from Amazing Grass.

Ingredients/ Appliance List

  • Blender/ Bowl
  • 3 frozen bananas chopped
  • 1 cup of frozen berries
  • 1 tsp of Supergreens powder
  • 1/2 cup of Almond milk
  • Additional toppings: blueberries, granola, kiwi, peanut butter, etc.

Step 1

Add all ingredients (besides toppings) to your blender or food processor. Blend those ingredients together for about 1 minute. The smoothie should have a smooth consistency, however, if chunks of fruit are present; continue to blend until smooth.

Step 2

Transfer smoothie to a bowl and add your desired toppings.  Top with fresh fruit, granola, nut butter, or any ingredients of your choosing.  I chose coconut flakes, berries, granola, and peanut butter. Enjoy!

Bowl Goals

There’s nothing quite like a refreshing smoothie bowl with all the toppings. This four-ingredient nutritious smoothie bowl is filled with Organic Supergreens booster (superfoods power) which contains wheatgrass, kale, moringa, and spirulina. Therefore with one bowl, one will get all the recommended daily servings of greens.

1tsp of Supergreens= 1.5 full servings of greens.

Food Review

After eating/making this smoothie bowl for the past few months, I can confirm that it is worth your time. It is a combination of sweet and refreshing ingredients that fills your stomach without feeling bloated. However, if you don’t enjoy berries, there are other bowls on Pintrest and food blogs such as Taste of Home.   This particular bowl serves two people and can be stored in the freezer/ fridge for later. This “how to make an easy berry smoothie bowl” article is not only relevant during the summer, it is also perfect for breakfast/ lunch/ or dinner at any time of the year.

In addition, she pushes herself to be a straight-A student and continues to expand her academic ability every day. When she is not dancing or at school, she enjoys spending time with her brother and sister or going to the beach with friends and family.
