The movie Palmer was written by Cheryl Guerriero. She was born and raised in New Jersey.

An entirely fictional film, Palmer, released on January 29, 2021, is a heartwarming movie. This movie is an emotional movie that makes you laugh and cry. It is a highly recommended movie.

Cast

Starring Justin Timberlake and Ryder Allen, both actors were able to tie the movie together. It was because of their characters in the movie and their roles that added so much emotion and emphasis into the film itself. Other actors and actresses include Alisha Wainwright, June Squibb, Dean Winters, and many more. Together, these actors and actresses had the ability to make the movie so much better. Fisher Stevens, the director of the film, truly chose great actors and actresses along with a great storyline.

Summary

A young man named Eddie Palmer (Justin Timberlake) has just come back from prison after 12 years. His imprisonment has not only changed him mentally but also financially. His grandmother Vivian Palmer (June Squibb), has welcomed him into her home until he can live on his own. As he begins his journey of getting his life back, he meets a little boy named Sam (Ryder Allen). Together they form a strong bond that grows inseparable. This bond benefits Eddie Palmer in such a positive way. However, Palmer’s past resurfaces. This threatens his life and his family.

Opinion

The movie Palmer is a movie that is inspiring to many. The acceptance that Sam faced lacked until people got to know him. People today judge others based on what they look like. This movie teaches others to steer clear from judging people unless they truly know them. I would truly watch this movie over and over again. Palmer is impactful and shows a bond that many people can relate to. The role that Palmer takes on as the caretaker of Sam when they endure a situation, allows Palmer and Sam to get close. It is because of the closeness they formed, that makes watchers feel sorry and express sympathy for Sam.

Conclusion

This film truly is an emotional and heartfelt movie that many would enjoy. It teaches watchers that everyone is different and we have to accept that. Many people today have many different styles and mentalities than other people–and that is okay! That is what makes America stand out–because we have the ability to wear and believe whatever we want. Over the years it has been hard with being accepted into certain communities. This movie is truly inspiring in regards to that. The movie Palmer left me in tears and has scored a 75% on Rotten Tomatoes. This movie is rated R and is 1 hour and 50 minutes long.
