March 8th, 2022- Aaron Rodgers agrees to stay with the Packers

Aaron Rodgers signed a huge 4 year 200 million dollar contract extension. Rodgers had won the MVP the last 2 years in a row but unfortunately fell short in the playoffs. The Packers went on to go 8-9, just barely missing the playoffs and  Rodgers put together a decent campaign with 26 touchdowns, 12 interceptions and a 91.1 passer rating. This would turn out to be Rodgers’s last season as a Packer with him being traded to the New York Jets in the off-season. Rodgers is considered one of the best quarterbacks to ever play and adds to a list of Packers greats at quarterback, joining the likes of Bart Starr and Brett Favre.
