After Colonia scores touchdown against Perth Amboy.

On the Colonia High School’s blue turf on September 25th, Colonia defeated Perth Amboy 26-15. Thanks to Bashir Lauderdale’s 164 rushing yards along with 2 touchdowns and a pick-six by Joshua Joseph.

Although Colonia’s first half performance was poor and sloppy including lots of penalties and poor decisions that led to turnovers. They managed to come out and get a win like they have proven for the last 3 games making them 3-0.

Colonia has some big shoes to fill after last years Colonia football team went 11-1 (losing only in OT in the state championship game). They are well on the road to glory in achieving a state championship.

Tyler Santos, starting Wide Receiver said, “They were not easy they fought hard, but we dug deep got a turnover put up some points and got the Win.” He also went on and added “Our defense was strong the whole game and really stepped up for us,” when he was asked how tough of a team Perth Amboy.
