Julia Jagodka
Julia Jagodka, Spring Reporter
Julia Jagodka is currently a 16 year old junior at Colonia High School. She grew up in Avenel, NJ. Jagodka loves watching hockey, especially the New Jersey Devils. She also does stats for the Colonia High School Patriots hockey team and used to swim for the High School team. Jagodka loves animals, and she has two dogs, two cats, two turtles and one hedgehog. In her free time she loves to draw and watch horror movies. Jagodka is the oldest of her two siblings and that is why she hopes to be a good example for them while they grow up. Julia speaks fluent Polish as her parents both came from Poland 17 years ago. She has been attending Polish School every Saturday for the last 10 years. After high school she hopes to attend  New York University and pursue a career in dentistry. Overall, she is a very enjoyable and fun person to be around.
Alyssa Margolin
Alyssa Margolin, Spring Reporter
Alyssa Margolin is a junior at Colonia High School. She is 16 years old, born on May 21, 1999. She is the youngest of her two brothers and  also has a dog. Margolin used to dance and do gymnastics for a few years. She has also been playing softball since she was five years old, influenced to play by her father and brothers. She started playing softball on an all boys t-ball team. Ever since then, she has played on both recreational and travel teams as a third baseman, pitcher, and left fielder. Aside from playing softball, Margolin enjoys to spend time with her family and friends and sleeping. Her favorite time of the year is the summer because she loves the hot weather and to spend her days at the beach. When she’s older, she wants to move to Florida, go to college there and finally, be an elementary school teacher.
