Colonia draws 5th seed in GMC Tournament

The Colonia Patriots have been rewarded after an excellent regular season, in which they finished 12-7, and are the 5th seed in the Greater Middlesex County Conference. Colonia finished third in the Red Division, behind powerhouses St. Josephs in Metuchen and East Brunswick High School. This regular season was a success for Coach Chiera and his players and they look to make some noise in the County Tournament.

Colonia, with the 5th seed, will host one of the following schools: (12) Carteret, (21) Piscataway Tech or (28) Wardlaw. It will be an exciting tournament for Middlesex County and hopefully the Patriots can repeat the win.

Meshaal Bannerman is a freshman at CHS.  Bannerman is an avid sports fan, who plays on the soccer team. He enjoys watching playing sports. He also likes to meet new people, and to travel.  Bannerman is involved in Student Council, Interact Club and The Declaration.
