Leo Buscaglia (1924-1998) also known as “Dr. Love,” was an American author and motivational speaker. He was also a professor in the Department of Special Education at the University of Southern California. Buscaglia also earned his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate’s from the University of Southern California. He took most of his inspiration from from a student’s suicide, which forced him to contemplate the disconnect between human relationships.
