Derrick Rose is an NBA guard for the Minnesota Timberwolves, but he also has had one of the most interesting careers in history. When Rose came into the league he was an immediate star for the Chicago Bulls. He gained recognition for his athletic dunks and layups, and great leadership at such a young age. He quickly became a star and people started to consider him as the best guard in the league, and one of the best players in the whole league as well. At 22 years old, Rose was able to win the league’s most prominent award, the MVP. This made him the youngest to win this award ever. His career was at an all time high, and he was not even 23 years old. Then it got interesting. Rose fell victim to 3 consecutive knee injuries and was forced to sit out for 4 seasons. This completely altered the positive way his career was heading, and he never was able to come back as the same player.
