Based on the show’s popularity, the show had 1.5 million viewers for the first five episodes.

Love Is Blind is a reality Netflix TV show that focuses on one major question, which is, is love blind? This popular TV show is a perfect show to binge-watch if you love drama.

Love Is Blind first premiered on February 13, 2020. However, the show started filming in 2018. Next, this show has 11 episodes in total, and each episode is about an hour long. Also, Atlanta, Georgia, is where the show was filmed the majority of the time. So the constants on this show lived or lived near Atlanta. Lastly, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey are the hosts of this reality show.

Summary

On this show, there were about 40 to 50 constants. However, during filming, the producers set some people home, making the cast 20 to 25 people. The goal of this show is to find love, but there is a catch. The constants can’t see each other. The purpose of this is to see if the constants can fall in love with the person, instead of their looks. This whole show is like a big science experiment.

The constants go on speed dates for ten days in “pods.” The “pods” are two separate rooms that are facing each other. There is a wall separating each “pod.” The pods were soundproof, so the constants communicated through speakers. For these ten days, the constants build an emotional connection. At the end of ten days, the constants became engaged to the person they choose. However, if they did not get engaged at the end of ten days, then they were asked to leave the show. After the couples get engaged, they are allowed to see each other. Not every constant got engaged at the end of this experience.

Next, after the remaining couples got engaged, they went to a retreat in Mexico. In Mexico, they got to spend the days together and start to build a physical connection.

After Mexico, the remaining couples went back to the real world. First, they moved into an apartment together in Atlanta, Georgia. They continued to go back to work and started planning for their wedding, which was less than a month away.

On their wedding day, there were two wedding venues in Atlanta, Georgia. Even though the couples were engaged, not every couple got married. Lastly, only a few couples remained together today.

Reviews

In my opinion, I think it is a great show to watch if you like reality TV shows and drama. This show reminded me of The Bachelor, but more intense. The Bachelor is a reality dating TV show as well. Lastly, I would recommend that children do not watch this show because it does have some adult content in the show. I would recommend adults and teenagers to watch this show.

Next, I wouldn’t want to be a part of the show, but I liked the drama and the concept of the show. I found it interesting that the show was a science experiment to see if love is blind. During the show, many of the constants claimed that they think love is blind.

Next, I liked how there were many twists and turns. Throughout this show, I liked to make predictions on the couples and the couple’s outcome. As soon as I thought I was right about the couple’s fate, there was a twist I never saw coming. I liked how this show had its unpredictable moments.

According to Rotten Tomatoes, this show has a 74 percent rotten tomato rate. Also, on IMDb, this show received a six out of ten. Lastly, as of April 21, this show received about 30 million viewers.
