Ciros pizza located on 140 Lake Ave in Colonia.

Located on Lake Avenue in Colonia, Ciro’s is known for their great pizza, sandwiches and pasta. The owner Max Perrone opened Ciro’s in 1997; he took it over from his brother Ciro. Max makes his pizza with the freshest ingredients and has the help of his coworkers answering phones, making deliveries and folding pizza boxes.

His menu features cold and hot appetizers, pasta, sandwiches and his specialty pizza. Some of pizzas include buffalo chicken, sicilian, sausage and peppers and more. Like most pizzerias on the counter they have some pizzas and sandwiches for anyone stopping in for a quick slice of delicious pizza.

On a scale from 1-5, 5 being the best, 13 people gave a 5, 10  people gave a 4 and 1 person gave a 3.

Jennie Godfrey, who moved into Colonia in May of last year said she goes there at least once a week. “I live right down the street from Ciro’s and their pizza is fantastic. Of course I go there once a week!”

The food is ready pretty quickly and is always fresh. The prices are also really good, where a medium plain pie is $9.00 and a large being $10.50. Max and his co-workers are always friendly and will always greet you when you come in to get their amazing food.
