Four out of five shamrocks for Molly Maguires

This Sunday, I decided to go try out Molly Maguires in Clark, NJ, with my family. Molly Maguires is an Irish Restaurant/Bar that offers not only Irish but American food as well. When I entered the restaurant, it had quite a nice atmosphere; owners keep one room to a sports bar type atmosphere with football games playing in the background, and the other room to a more quiet, dining style atmosphere. The restaurant not only offered chairs but booths for those who desired a more “comfy” seat. I would say overall, the layout of the building was spacious and comfortable, a great family styled restaurant.

After quickly being seated (with a minimal wait time of five minutes during dinner time on a Sunday), my family and I reviewed the menu. They had a lot of well known Irish dishes, such as Chicken Pot Pie and also some American choices, such as burgers or the chicken salad. I decided to try out the Chicken Pot Pie, because the way it was described on the menu sounded very delicious. The wait time for our waiter to bring us drinks and take our order was also very minimal, which is a rare but good factor you find in restaurants these days. The waiter also was respectful and super polite. I would definitely give Molly’s wait time/restaurant manners a 10 out of 10.

Finally, it was time for us to enjoy our meal. As the candles were lit and soft music filled in, we devoured every bit of our delicious meal. The Chicken Pot Pie was to die for. Not only was the pastry baked to perfection, but the inside was steamy goodness of sauce, chicken, potatoes and veggies. I literally wanted more and more of it. Molly’s most definitely deserves a 10 out of 10 for food. Most restaurants these days almost always have something wrong with the meal, whether it is too cold or burnt, but Molly’s was perfect.

After our meal we enjoyed American Styled dessert, which was a warm cooked chocolate cake with ice cream on top. Though it was an easy meal to make, this also tasted quite delightful; making our meal as a whole a great experience.

I would really recommend people to go to Molly Maguires because it is an amazing restaurant for small prices. Most of the time if you wish to get a well, home cooked meal you have to pay through-the-roof prices; whereas, at Molly’s you get the best for moderate prices. It is the best fit for any occasion, whether going out with the boys for some Monday Night Football or going out with the family for Sunday dinner. Molly’s is the best choice.
