After this win/loss for Colonia High School, their  next game is April 15, 2016, against Carteret High School, at away field. The game started with two strike outs by Kaitlyn Kelly (sophomore) and a ground out at first base. As the Patriots went up to bat, three runs were scored by Soos, Santos, and Pucci. The Patriots went into the field and Kelly, leading the field, had two more strike outs. The inning ended quick, and Colonia headed to the plate strong, scoring seven runs in the bottom of the second inning. On top of the third, was a quick one, with 3 ground outs. As the Patriots led 10-0, bats were still strong, and the girls scored three more runs in the bottom of the third. Top of the fourth inning, the Patriots put in Sam Pucci on the mound. She hurled in two strike outs and the Patriots finished the game with a ground out.

During the game, Sam Fioravanti and Julie Dos Santos both hit a home run, bringing in three runs each.

This was their second win, following their win on April 13, 2016 against Bishop George Ahr High School, at home. Both of the team’s wins have been at home. Their first game, at Monroe High School, was away, which ended in a loss.
